Welcome To Ken Smith, Ministries

QUESTION: What is more important, Off Season or Game Time?

I submit... The Off Season. If you don't work out and stay in shape,
you may not make the team.

  Didn't Make The Team

  Made The Team

The NFL Season Is Kicking Off. Whose Team Are You On?

Read The Back Of The Play Book, (The Bible), To See Which Team You Choose
The Winning Team. Revalation 20:6 / Those who lost. Revalation 20:15

2 Timothy 4:2
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

Donnelle and I are Sharing "What's Next"

“I simply argue that the cross should be raised at the center of the marketplace as well as on the steeple of the church. I am recovering the claim that Jesus was not crucified in a cathedral between two candles, but on a cross between two thieves; on the town’s garbage heap; at a crossroad so cosmopolitan that they had to write His title in Hebrew and Latin and Greek … at the kind of place where cynics talk smut, and thieves curse, and soldiers gamble. Because that is where He died. And that is what He died for. And that is what He died about. That is where churchmen ought to be and what churchmen ought to be about.” – George Macleod

" The Book by my friend Dan Britton is called One Word recommends you chose a word to be the guide for this year. I have chosen "focus." I am going to "focus" on knowing the Lord. I am going to focus on what matters in life. I am going to "focus" on serving others. I am going to "focus" on sharing the gospel in my world. My verse is Matthew 6:33 "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Will you join me this year and shape your life by "Focus"

Ken Smith's Ministries exist to encourage Christians in their journeys and to tell the story of Jesus in an exciting way! For over 20 years now Ken has proclaimed a living Christ in conferences, rallies and in youth camps and mens events. Still at it; Ken's desire is that every person he encounters will know Christ and be on a journey of faith that makes them a "living" Bible - a minister in their market place.

How are You doing so Far...
The call had always been to Grow. Our ministry is geared toward two things:

1. Encouraging you live life to Make faith a growing process!

Philippians 1:6 Amplified Bible (AMP)
And I am convinced and sure of this very thing, that He Who began a good work in you will continue until the day of Jesus Christ [right up to the time of His return], developing [that good work] and perfecting and bringing it to full completion in you. Paul encountered along the way folks who were content to be stagnant in faith admonishing them that they should be eating meat, and he had to give them milk. We try to encourage a growth in the relationship with Christ.

2. Our ministry tries to encourage a faith that translates into the market place of life.

We want to encourage folks to share their faith in the places they live... It is not just a Sunday morning deal ... it is a daily deal. Join us along the way as KSM ministers to folks in the marketplace

Ministry update for September

Well there is a sermon in this for sure. The storm came to Tallahassee and it was ugly. I would say that Dee and I dodged a bullet. We were in Orlando and Wauchula and got back on Friday to see the horrible damage to our beautiful city. We never lost power when most of the city still has none. Coming back gradually! But the month is under way.
I speak in Atlanta for FCA next week and head to Ole Miss for a chapel and Sunday service, Sept. 11. This starts a busy month. A chapel for Clemson in Atlanta, a Senior adult retreat in Clemson. What a great opportunity for me in both events.
This month a National Board meeting for FCA, where we will say good by to President Les Steckel and try to express appreciation for his years of leadership. Then we will introduce the New President and we will post that on this site. We will attend an Air Force Academy home game. So you can tell a busy month!

Pray for us and thank you for your support!

I am excited that it will be a source of encouragement for you.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence, and don't take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. "  Psalm 51:10-12 (NLT)
