Welcome To Ken Smith, Ministries

"Proclaiming Jesus in The Marketplace for over 20 years"

A Quote From George McCloud

"I simply argue that the cross be raised in the middle of the marketplace. For Jesus was not crucified in a church between two candles but on a cross between two thieves. A place so cosmopolitan they had to write his name in 3 languages: Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic. ( we could say Spanish, Arabic and English today).
It was the town garbage heap. Where thieves cursed, cynics hurled insults, soldiers gambled. That is where he chose to die and those are the people he chose to die for ... and that is where the church needs to be and those are the people we ought to care for as well. " George McCloud

Ken Smith's Ministries exist to encourage Christians in their journeys and to tell the story of Jesus in an exciting way! For over 20 years now Ken has proclaimed a living Christ in conferences, rallies and in youth camps and mens events. Still at it; Ken's desire is that every person he encounters will know Christ and be on a journey of faith that makes them a "living" Bible - a minister in their market place.

Ministry Report September
We are excited to announce that we are moving to Tallahassee, Fl this month...we will be in temporary housing until we close on our house. When we have done that we will be posting the address and home phone number. Until then email (ksmith7401@aol.com) and our cell phones are the best ways to connect with us.
Several folks have asked us why? Well candidly we came to Leesburg years ago to be near our kids who at the time both lived in the area. For 14 years with the exception of a sojourn in Wauchula we have kept this house. Tallahassee was for our kids home. Karen graduated from Godby and Rich played on a state championship team there. We were pastor at Fellowship Baptist church and chaplain for Bobby Bowden and the FSU football team.
We have wondered our selves many times about leaving there and sometimes in private conversation I will tell you what I think. We are excited about going "home" and will enjoy watching Seminole sports and being almost 4 hours closer to place we travel and speak.
The ministry this month will be preaching in Symrna, GA , Spartanburg, SC and Cedartown, GA. God continues to bless our work and we are so thrilled to be a part of the kingdom work.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence, and don't take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me again the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you. "  Psalm 51:10-12 (NLT)
