Welcome To Ken Smith, Ministries

"Proclaiming Jesus in The Marketplace for over 20 years"

A Quote From George McCloud

"I simply argue that the cross be raised in the middle of the marketplace. For Jesus was not crucified in a church between two candles but on a cross between two thieves. A place so cosmopolitan they had to write his name in 3 languages: Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic. ( we could say Spanish, Arabic and English today).
It was the town garbage heap. Where thieves cursed, cynics hurled insults, soldiers gambled. That is where he chose to die and those are the people he chose to die for ... and that is where the church needs to be and those are the people we ought to care for as well. " George McCloud

Ken Smith's Ministries exist to encourage Christians in their journeys and to tell the story of Jesus in an exciting way! For over 20 years now Ken has proclaimed a living Christ in conferences, rallies and in youth camps and mens events. Still at it; Ken's desire is that every person he encounters will know Christ and be on a journey of faith that makes them a "living" Bible - a minister in their market place.

July Ministry Update
June was a great month for us. I really think anytime I get to preach to Coaches I always enjoy the time. AS I sit her tonight arriving home this afternoon from Virginia and North Carolina, I am tired but blessed to say the least.
The month found me in Seminole, Florida for two weeks. The first time was to honor the pastor and my friend Mike the pastor there. Then as he started his sabbatical I went back and preached again. It was a joy both times and I will look forward to visiting with Mike when he back.
The highlight of the month was 9 days in North Carolina. The weekend was the Couples retreat at The Cove with Greg Smalley, and Coaches and wives. perhaps the best one I have attended and I was the host. Kenn Kington, a great Comedian, The Johnsons for music and a great time to say the least. When we are together ask me about the coffee!
The week found me at Black Mountain for the Coach's and families camp/ Wow preaching there was a blast. You can see those sermons on the Internetwww.fcavideos.com. There are 4 messages and an interview with the Owen family you need to see. God was good and I will treasure that time.
Dee and I left there and drove to Virginia for my Nephew's wedding and then home today. Wow!
I will head out next week fro Minnesota for a Coach's time out and then Dee and I will take our 50th Wedding anniversary trip to Michigan. More about that next Month!
